Website maintenance without the constant headaches.
Your website should help your business, not become another thing you have to worry about. We handle hosting, security, backups, monitoring, and everyday updates in one plan.
Hosting, security, backups, and edits in one monthly plan.
What do website maintenance services include?
Website maintenance is everything that keeps your site running properly after it goes live. It's not particularly exciting work, but it's important. Especially when something stops working and you don't know why.
Here's what we take care of.
Keep it online
Hosting and uptime monitoring
Your website runs on Vercel's modern hosting infrastructure. We monitor availability and handle the technical side.
Security and SSL
HTTPS certificates, security checks, and ongoing protection. We also build sites without a traditional WordPress login exposed on the public website.
Backups and recovery
Your website and content are backed up so there's a way to recover if something goes wrong.
Software and technical updates
We maintain the underlying code, dependencies, and integrations without relying on a growing collection of plugins.
Keep it current
Website content updates
Need to change your hours, replace a photo, or update your services? Small edits are included in your plan.
Technical support
If something isn't working, you contact us directly. No mystery developer or support department to track down.
Performance and analytics
We keep an eye on technical performance. Analytics, search tracking, and reporting depend on your plan.
Everything is handled by the same studio that built your website. We know how it works because we built it.
How much does website
maintenance cost?
Each plan includes the custom website build and ongoing care after launch. Setup covers the build; the monthly price covers hosting, security, backups, and updates.
Not a fit if you only want monthly plugin updates on a site someone else built. Our maintenance is for sites we build and manage.

Website maintenance cost depends on scope: Core from $149/month plus setup for a smaller custom site, Full from $299/month for more content and edits, Growth from $599/month for larger or multi-location work. Compare line items on monthly website plans.
All monthly website plans have a 12-month minimum. After 12 paid months, your website files, content, and design assets are yours. You can continue month to month or move the site elsewhere. The domain stays in your name. Cancel within 30 days before launch and the setup fee is refunded.

Does your website actually need maintenance, or something more?
Some websites only need routine updates. Others have reached a point where maintaining them is almost a full-time job.
Maybe your contact form stopped working. Your site takes forever to load on a phone. Or you're afraid to update a plugin because the last time you did, half the homepage disappeared.
We've seen plenty of sites like that.
WordPress itself isn't necessarily the problem. But when a website has accumulated years of plugins, page builders, outdated themes, and quick fixes, keeping it running can cost more than it's worth.
That's where we take a different approach.
We review what's working, keep the content and pages that matter, and rebuild the parts that are holding everything back. Existing URLs are mapped carefully so visitors and search engines can still find your pages.
The result is a cleaner website that's easier to maintain, faster to load, and much less likely to give you trouble every time something needs changing.
How we handle your website
- 01
We review what you have
We look at your current site, its performance, security, content, and any problems you've been dealing with. You'll get a clear idea of what needs attention, what can stay, and what a better setup would cost.
- 02
We build a better foundation
We build with modern tools like Astro, Sanity, and Vercel. That means fast pages, fewer moving parts, and no collection of WordPress plugins to constantly maintain. We also handle the migration, redirects, contact forms, and technical SEO setup.
- 03
We keep everything running
Once the site is live, we continue managing hosting, security, backups, technical maintenance, and the small changes your business needs. You won't need to find another developer six months later because something stopped working.
A couple of websites we've already helped
100 mobile PageSpeed · hacked WordPress removed · client can edit content
A wedding florist came to us with a WordPress website that had been hacked. Images were missing, content was broken, and the site no longer represented her business. We rebuilt it on a cleaner platform, gave her a simple way to update her own content, and removed the compromised WordPress installation. The new site scored 100 across all four mobile PageSpeed Insights categories at launch.
95 mobile PageSpeed at launch · organic traffic tripled after SEO work
Their old WordPress site scored 47 on mobile performance. After rebuilding it and improving the technical SEO, the new site reached 95 on mobile PageSpeed Insights at launch. Organic traffic also tripled following the broader SEO work.
Website maintenance FAQs
Can you maintain my existing WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace website?
We can review it, but we don't offer standalone maintenance contracts for websites built by other developers. Our ongoing maintenance is for websites we build and manage. That allows us to take responsibility for the entire setup instead of patching problems we didn't create. If your current website is working perfectly and you just need someone to update WordPress plugins, we're probably not the right fit.
What counts as a small website update?
Changing text, replacing images, updating links, or adjusting information on an existing page. Core includes up to two small edit requests per month. Full and Growth include unlimited small edits. New pages, major design changes, and custom features are handled separately, except for work specifically included in Growth.
Can I make website updates myself?
Yes. Full and Growth include a Sanity content management dashboard. You can edit text, images, services, and blog posts without touching any code. Core can add the same dashboard for a $500 one-time fee. And if you'd rather send us the changes, that's fine too.
Does website maintenance help with SEO?
It helps maintain the technical foundation your SEO depends on. A website that loads properly, stays accessible, and doesn't develop broken pages or technical errors is in a better position than one that's been neglected. We include technical SEO basics during the build, such as clean page structure, metadata, and redirects where needed. Maintenance isn't the same thing as actively improving your search rankings. If you want to grow your visibility, we also offer ongoing SEO and GEO for AI search.
What happens if my website goes down?
Contact us directly. Website outages and serious problems take priority over routine content changes. We monitor the sites we manage, but we don't pretend to operate a 24/7 emergency support center. You'll know who you're dealing with and how to reach us.
How often is website maintenance performed?
Monitoring happens continuously. Technical updates and security work are handled as needed, while content changes are completed when you request them. There's no reason to make you pay for a long monthly checklist of tasks your website doesn't actually need.
